Introducing ...

Well, hello there. This smile is for you.
ME! Oh, right, maybe you don't know who "Me" is. My name is Keri, and I'm a writer. I am working on my very first novel, a chick lit fantasy (is that even a genre?). It's nice to meet you all officially. Whoa, this feels like a job interview.

THANK YOU so much to the Alliterati for inviting me to join the Archives as a permanent member. It's like being invited to join a (not so) secret club and be part of the "cool kids."

To give you a little idea about who I am, I am a total nerd and proud of it. I absolutely adore the Harry Potter series. I reference it often. Can I get a "EXPECTO PATRONUM" from all the other fans out there? I have a husband (whom I call Hubs on the interwebs) and a cat, and we live a quiet life in the San Diego area.

I will post here at the Archives on Tuesdays, but you can also find me on Twitter (@keri_726) or on my blog Novel Beginnings. I don't have a set schedule on my personal blog, but I do try to post once a week. We have some fun ideas for the Archives (including an upcoming contest), so come back and visit us!

I would love to get to know you all too, so feel free to ask me any questions in the comments and tell me a little bit about YOU.

Yay, Keriann! Just one question: what form does your Patronus take?

Oooh! And what does your boggart look like when he comes out of the wardrobe?

SO GLAD YOU'RE HERE!!

Haha! My patronus takes the form of a sea turtle - peaceful, ocean-loving, generally just floating along and minding my own business :).

The boggart would take the form of a GIANT PINCHERBUG! *shudders* Those things freak me the heck out.

And as a bonus, the core of my wand would TOTALLY be unicorn hair.

:D

Nerds rule! As do fantasy writers, whatever their flavor. :)
